However it is not advisable for someone to try to cure big and life threatening abrasions unless there is no means to contact a professional. Stitches may be needed in cases of large wounds.

Comfrey is also used as an astringent and a mild expectorant. It is good for cleaning the wound when it is liquid form. Another famous plant for cleaning wounds and abrasions is eucalyptus oil and onion juice, which can be applied externally and as frequently as needed to ensure that the wound is in good healing process, to avoid any more complications. Tea tree oil is one of the best anti bacterial and anti fungal remedies that can be found in nature.
